Tales of the Reunion

Whan that October when we last did meet,
The droghte of spring did not pierce our feet.
And bathed every friend in swich licour,
Of which enduring friendships is the flour.

Whan JJ spake with her sweete breeth,
Inspired hath in friendships with closeness and depth,
The long married couples and their younge sonne,
Hath in the gathering, its full course yronne.

The friendships gathered here are not new, but old,
Renewing precious memories that have oft been told.
We danced, we shared, we loved and we cried,
We remembered lost classmates; tears flowed as we tried….

To count all our blessings, each of us has many, I'm sure.
From cancer surviving to the Middle East wars,
We all have our wishes and prayers that we say,
But right now the blessing of friendship I'm sending your way.
